"Great food and great employees. I got the Nancy Burger, which was a mouth full! And the coconut cream pie was good and fluffy. Jalapeño poppers were hot and delicious! Great local digs to try if you’re passing through."

"From the side of the road it doesn’t look like much but the food was amazing! Best burger I’ve had in awhile. Service was super quick and our server was very friendly. We’re not from the area but would definitely go back again."

"Stopped here on the way to Rail Explorers Elk River Division, for lunch. I ordered the BBQ sandwich with a side of fries and a Pepsi. Our server, Carol, yes the Carol, took our order. We had a group of 6 and everyone got something different to eat. The food came out fast and was hot and fresh. The slaw on my BBQ was great and the fries were crisp just like I like them. How did they know. I was traveling with some relatives from Pa and one of the patrons came over and talked to us about hauling coal from Clay to Sunbury Pa in the 1990’s until “Obama shut that down”. I finished my meal with a slice of warm cherry pie ala mode. They gave me a nice sized slice and took the vanilla ice cream ear marked for Mike who worked there and gave it to me so I could have my pie ala mode. What service!!!!! The inside is way nicer than the outside and it felt like we ate there all the time and not the first time. If I could give out sixes I would. Total bill was $84 for six adults. Can’t beat that with a stick. If you are in the area plan to eat here."

"What a great find for a delicious meal before our rail explorer tour. Carol, the owner, has got sass. She made our dining experience complete. The food was fresh, hot and tasty and when it came time for supper, I was still fully satisfied from my lunch. I am not a dessert person, but she convinced me to try her coconut cream pie and I was not disappointed: so good. The next time I come from PA to visit my “primo” and his family, I will include Carol’s in my itinerary. You won’t be disappointed"

"I had pizza. It was ok at best. My wife had the open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and corn. She was worried about it coming out as deli meat. It wasn't. It was true turkey NOT deli meat and she throughly enjoyed it. We were with friends. One of them got the same thing and enjoyed it also."

"We had heard good reviews and decided to do a girls trip. It was well worth the trip!!! We had the fish, chicken livers, and pizza.and fried pickles. Wonderful!! Then bought two pies to bring home to eat. Graham Cracker and Coconut homemade pudding and mile high meringue. Well worth it about 9 miles above Clendenin on Rt. 4."
